Summary

Background: As bullying and online bullying has become more present in schools, we conducted a survey where we analyzed the needs
of teachers and saw that the course is necessary. Professors are not trained to react in time, they don't always know who to
turn to or how to approach this problem. Also, they do not include the topic of violence in their programs, so students are not
familiar with the types of violence or how to act properly. The training is much needed to get practical advise and information
Objectives:
Professional development of teaching competencies: Developing teachers' competencies in recognizing, preventing, and
responding to violence. Availability of materials for teachers on the website. Educational objectives: raising awareness
among Spanish language teachers, creating a safe student environment. Recognizing unacceptable behavior and
appropriate response, as well as preventing violence that may be inferred in certain student groups.
Results:
1. Trained and skilled Spanish language teachers for recognizing, preventing, and appropriately responding to bullying or
cyber-bullying.
2. Webpage for Spanish language teachers in case of uncertainties, but also for further professional development in this
field. The website will also contain examples of best practices.
3. "STOP BULLYING" workshops for teachers, which will be based on interactive experiential methods aimed at creating a
safe teacher/student environment.

Tema: Bullying and ciber bullying: prevención, identificación y reacción

Contexto: A medida que el acoso escolar y el acoso en línea se han vuelto más presentes en las escuelas, realizamos una encuesta en la que analizamos las necesidades de los docentes y vimos que el curso es necesario. Los profesores no están capacitados para reaccionar a tiempo, no siempre saben a quién acudir ni cómo abordar este problema. Además, no incluyen el tema de la violencia en sus programas, por lo que los estudiantes no están familiarizados con los tipos de violencia ni con cómo actuar adecuadamente. La capacitación es muy necesaria para recibir consejos prácticos e información.

Objetivos: Desarrollo profesional de competencias docentes: Desarrollo de las competencias de los docentes para reconocer, prevenir y responder a la violencia. Disponibilidad de materiales para los docentes en el sitio web. Objetivos educativos: Concienciar a los profesores de lengua española, crear un entorno seguro para los estudiantes. Reconocer conductas inaceptables y responder de manera adecuada, así como prevenir la violencia que pueda inferirse en ciertos grupos de estudiantes.

Resultados: 

1. Profesores de lengua española capacitados y competentes para reconocer, prevenir y responder adecuadamente al acoso escolar o ciberacoso.

2. Página web para profesores de lengua española en caso de dudas, así como para el desarrollo profesional continuo en este ámbito. El sitio web también incluirá ejemplos de buenas prácticas.

3. Talleres "STOP BULLYING" para docentes, basados en métodos experienciales e interactivos, dirigidos a crear un entorno seguro entre profesores y estudiantes.
